- Each team may consist of participants 10 years and older and have at least 1 participant 18 or over.
- All participants or their guardians must sign a waiver prior to racing.
- Teams may have up to 4 members. However just 1 driver and 1 pusher. Other members may be at starting area or finishing area.
- All teams must build their own car.
- All drivers must be wearing helmets.
- There will be a five yard push zone in which the pusher may make contact with the vehicle. Any participant pusher who maintains contact past the 5 yard zone will disqualify their team.
- A driver may not start pushing their vehicle and then jump in and drive.
- There are no divisions this year.
- $20 entry/team
- Fastest time of the day wins.
Vehicle Specs:
- Vehicle must have at 4 wheels.
- Vehicle must have steering.
- Vehicle must have a braking system. The “Flintstone” braking system is not considered legal.
- Vehicle must not weigh more than 230 pounds.
- Vehicle length must not exceed 7 feet (84″).
- Vehicle width must not exceed 50″.
- Vehicle height must not exceed 48″.
- Vehicle body to be constructed primarily from wood.
- All vehicles are gravity powered after starting push.
- Each vehicle must be equipped with large eyebolts in the front or rear of the vehicle. These will be used to transport the vehicles back up the hill to the start of the race course.
We recommend that you test your vehicle before race day to ensure everything works, meets specifications and is safe.
