Pony 22nd ANNUAL Horseback Poker Ride
Saturday June 20, 2026, 8:30 am – 1:30 pm
The ride is held at the beautiful Sitz Angus Ranch in Pony, Montana.
This year, 2026, we’ll be inviting you to again saddle up the horses and put on your poker face for the Pony 22nd Annual Pony Homecoming Club Poker Ride.
The times listed below are subject to change so check back before the event.

- Saturday June 20, 2026, 8:30 am – 1:30 pm
- Riders out 9-10 am
- $20/rider — $10/extra hand. Lunch not provided but available to purchase from food truck at the finish line at Sitz Ranch
- Farrier for emergency services available at the event
- Trail length TBD (usually 8-10 miles). Mix of gravel, trail and grass road and shallow water crossings.
- You must be at least 18 years old to purchase poker hands
- Children (10 and under) ride for free
- Don’t bring dogs — we’re riding on a working ranch
- Bring your all-weather gear
- Water for horses may be available along the trail
- This year we will do an even better job at marking the trail. We’re still learning 😉
This is a Pony Homecoming Club Fund Raiser.
Sitz Angus Ranch is located about 45 minutes SE of Butte and 55 minutes SW of Bozeman. Take Hwy 287 to Harrison, turn onto Norwegian Creek Rd. After about 5 miles take a left onto Sitz Road (directions). Parking; follow instructions at the ranch.
The Poker Ride is sponsored by the Pony Homecoming Club. Registration for the Poker Ride is 8:30-10 am at Sitz Angus Ranch.
Registered riders (no horses at registration table please) can start riding between 9 am and 10 am for the approximately 8-10 mile trail and gravel/dirt/grass road ride. NO LATE ENTRIES please — last rider out at 10 am.
All riders will be required to sign a waiver at the event.
$25 buy-in gets you one hand and ride. $10 per extra hand.
