Virginia and Lance (and Trigger)
Virginia and Lance Barns purchased property outside of Pony in 1972 and have been exploring the area, far and wide, ever since. They settled on their land about ten years ago and have been living there, off the grid, year round.
Former farmers and loggers, they now devote time (and a lot of birdseed!) to the endless parade of birds that visit the numerous bird feeders they have strategically placed for optimal bird watching.
Their dog Trigger keeps the squirrels on their toes and helps Lance and Virginia make a dent in their stash of Wilcoxson’s Ice Cream that their daughter has been helping produce in Livingston for over three decades.
