“Tyson is a Utah native who spent most of his adult life in Western Washington where he met me 5 years ago” says Liana. 

I was born and raised in Spokane Washington and was finishing my masters degree in Puyallup, WA when we met. We had talked about moving to Montana and living ‘off grid’ but had no idea how we would get here.

Then Tyson had an opportunity through his work to set up a new office and it was between Three Forks and Livingston. We had no say in the matter but we are very grateful that it was Three Forks, and we found our home in Pony. 

Now here we are two city kids who have fallen in love with the open spaces of Montana. 

I work at Main Street office, online as a Registered Dietitian, and teach a class Monday mornings and work one Saturday a month at the gym in Three Forks. 

Tyson is a manager for Legacy Telecommunications – he builds and maintains communication towers all over Montana, Wyoming and North Dakota. 

We have a 6.5 yr old chocolate lab, named Tammy Lynn who has a ferocious bark and a non-existent bite. You will most likely find me out walking/hiking with Tammy and Tyson or out in the bush hunting.
