I am from Snohomish County, Washington, and I have lived and worked in various other western states, including Montana, Utah, and Colorado.

I first came to Pony in 1983 and have resided here for extended periods since 2011, permanently since 2016. My study of western American history and my travels around the region make me appreciate the beauty and tranquility of this place.

My special interest is the history of land, life, and labor in the small towns and working landscapes of the Tobacco Root Mountains.
