Pony Homecoming
Pony is a small community nestled against the breathtaking Tobacco Root Mountains in southwestern Montana. Formerly a bustling mining community, Pony is now a registered historic district with a population of a hundred people. It’s a popular spot for outdoor recreation, music, weddings and other events.
Volunteers run everything! The Pony Homecoming Club is a non-profit organization that maintains the buildings and public spaces that serve the community and beyond as well as helping to preserve the history and stories of its colorful past.

Annual Fiddlefest
The annual community event “Pony Fiddlefest” that has been hosted by Distict 3 of The Montana Old Time Fiddlers Association for the past 15 years will not be held in Pony this year. It is moving to the Boulder Fairgrounds on September 7th.
White Church Clean-Up May 18th, 9am-noon
This year we will be stabilizing and repairing the White Church foundation. We will be cleaning up around the White Church to be able to perform foundation repair and oil tank footing. Those able to help for a few hours, please meet at the church at 9 am on May 18th.
Pony Park Clean-Up May 11th, 9am-noon
How about a day in the park? Pony Park Clean-up will be held on May 11th this year. Bring your gloves, rakes, wheel barrows, and lots of enthusiasm so we can get the park ready for another summer season, and the Church ready for footing repairs. Clean-up starts at 9am...

PHC President’s Message
After the wonderful turnout for the Community Christmas gathering it has been brought up that maybe there should be more community-oriented get-togethers.
Some suggestions are more Potlucks, maybe an Easter Egg hunt or just a good ole’ tailgate dance in the gym. Oh hey! Who rmembers a box social?
However this would all take work from everyone, not just the board members! So with some input, ideas and a little help from everyone, maybe we could make some of these happen?

Pony Trot

The 5k and 10k fun runs take place over dirt roads in the hills around scenic Pony.

A fun-filled day of games, crafts, music, food, a parade and a street dance.
Pony Poker Ride

A 10 mile trail ride through gorgeous terrain, poker hands and lunch.

Pony Homecoming is run by volunteers. Your event money, annual membership dues, and donations help cover community event costs and contribute to essential maintenance for this historic town.

About us
The Pony Homecoming Club was established in 1961 to provide a sense of community for Pony, Harrison, Norris and surrounding areas. We hold annual fundraisers to help in our mission to preserve the historic buildings we are responsible for and to support, enrich and enhance the Pony and surrounding communities.
We always welcome donations to help preserve the buildings and build community in this beautiful historical town and surrounding areas. The Pony Homecoming Club is a non-profit organization, 501(c)(3), which means that your donations are tax deductible.
You can also become a member the Pony Homecoming Club by sending a check for membership dues ($15/person per year). Pay and donate online or send dues & donations to: Pony Homecoming Club, PO Box 654, Pony, MT 59747.
Annual meeting
The Pony Homecoming Club's annual meeting is Sunday 18 August in the Pony Park 4 to 6 pm. Everyone welcome. There will be a potluck with the Club providing bbq pork. Please join us for this only once a year community meeting!
