Pony 20th ANNUAL Horseback Poker Ride

Saturday June 15, 2024, 8:30 am – 1:30 pm

The ride is held at the beautiful Sitz Angus Ranch in Pony, Montana.

This year, 2024, we’ll be inviting you to again saddle up the horses and put on your poker face for the Pony 20th ANNUAL Horseback Poker Ride.

The times listed below are subject to change so check back before the event.

• Registration in person: 8:30 am-10 am
• First rider out: 9 am
• Last rider out: 10:30 am
• Last rider in: 1:30 pm
• Last poker hand accepted at 1:30 pm
• Lunch is served 12-1:30 pm at Sitz Ranch
• Lunch following the ride included for paying poker participants
• Lunch for non-participants, $10
• Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Poker hands will be awarded after the last rider gets back

This is a Pony Homecoming Club Fund Raiser.

Sitz Angus Ranch is located about 45 minutes SE of Butte and 55 minutes SW of Bozeman. Take Hwy 287 to Harrison, turn onto Norwegian Creek Rd. After about 5 miles take a left onto Sitz Road (directions). Parking at the ranch.

The Poker Ride is sponsored by the Pony Homecoming Club. Registration for the Poker Ride is 8:30-10 am at Sitz Angus Ranch.

Registered riders (no horses at registration table please) can start riding between 9 am and 10:30 am for the approximately 8-10 mile trail and gravel/dirt/grass road ride. NO LATE ENTRIES please — last rider out at 10:30 am.

All riders will be required to sign a waiver at the event.

$30 buy-in gets you one hand, ride and lunch. $10 per extra hand.

For the ride please note:

• You must be 18+ for poker hands
• Children (under 10) ride for free
• Lunch $5 per child (10 and under)
• Lunch $10 per adult (if not riding) and children over 10
• Don’t bring dogs
• Bring your all-weather gear
• Water for horses available along the trail (creek)
